Shadow self portrait

Good morning all. I am fascinated with nature and shadows. This morning I was walking down my little road to get the paper. I took my camera to take pictures of some mushrooms (I may post that picture too). When I came to the bend I saw my shadow among the trees so I decided to take some shots of that. So you see me waving to you from my world. I think these are perfect self portraits for me for this is one of the places that I feel most alive….in a woodland among the lights and shadows.

I already have a shadow portrait on my web site (the first), and now I think I will start a series of them. Especially when I am in Italy next month. Just an idea swirling around in my mind (among many, many:).

I will try to write more in a bit….
