Well, I wiped out my earlier post then I tried to redo it…that was not very smart. So now I am going to attempt to redo what I just did…good grief.
The Journey (click on images to enlarge)
Untitled and The Journey are framed…Connections is a wrapped canvas. The one piece is untitled because I could not remember the title.
Of course, The Journey was submitted for the tactile show, and the other two for the black and white show. You could only submit one for the tactile…I have another one that I am working on. I’ll save it for another time. As I told you earlier usually the tactile submissions are pottery, weavings, 3D, etc. So we will see.
All a learning experience….how can it ever be a waste of time when you are painting? You learn from every painting or piece that you do.
Connections is a mixed media piece….I really didn’t know what to call it because I have real ferns in the piece. So I guess that would be mixed media…right?

These are wonderful. I am truly enjoying your work! I posted a Merry Christmas greeting in September and within that is a photo of the night sky. When I just saw your painting above it reminded me so much of the photo I had to go back and make sure I wasn’t imagining it!
