“You must live in the present,
launch yourself on every wave,
find your eternity in each moment.”
~Henry David Thoreau

Hello everyone I hope your days of late have been pleasant ones. I am still muddling around in my world and in my mind. Muddling…for some reason I like that word, sounds kind of earthy to me. :)
Once again, I find myself struggling with keeping up with my blog. :O Do you suppose it is the unfolding of spring that is causing my fickleness? Could it be the seductive aroma of wisteria, roses, black berry and orange blossoms, wild flowers, or the hypnotic songs of all my very busy feathered friends? I am not sure. I only know spring has cast her spell upon me, and I am bewitched!!
So I’ll spare us all….no “long-winded” post from me today. :) Once again the painting and the quote say enough.
My wish for us all is that we live in the present…ride every wave….find eternity in every moment. Alas, I feel an urgency to do so, and my heart is wide open!!
Still muddling in the light,
~gypsy-he♥rt
~♥~

There is no better place to contemplate and stick your toes and mind in the mud…then in the light.
May your muddling produce expressions
awareness
and openness in all you do…
Peace and laughter to you…
Gorgeous blue magic!
I absolutely needed this message right now too, so huge thanks for that reminder. :)
…and “Muddling” is a great word!
Evening Dearest Gypsy-Heart~
OK…I’m LOVIN’ this piece with all my guts!!
Do you know, when I first looked at it…I actually thought it was a photograph!!!
Geewiz…it’s AWESOME!
What I love about your blog, is that you’re able to share your journey (all your growth and discovery). And by using your artist and writing talents…take US on that journey with you! It’s as if you’ve been spending your quiet time, channeling the “messages” you’re receiving…and then it’s coming through to US…via your work. And for ME…I can FEEL that trememdous energy moving through you.
It’s so beautiful and exciting!
My dear friend… it feels to me, that you are doing exactly as you are supposed to be doing, right now. You’re living each moment as it comes to you…and allowing yourself to ride the waves.
And I am SO freaking JOYOUS for you!
Thank you, Gypsy-Heart…for leaving your HEART wide open!
Your Ocean Waves painting share a lot of common visual characteristic as my own painting of the tropical sea and marine life. By the way we are somehow or rather muddling through it and still meet and smile along the way.
I’m muddling too…I am glad I am not alone in the act! Love the waves work, it does look like a picture rather than a painting, love the movement. Keep on keeping on, we will all muddle through it together it looks like. :)
Perhaps Spring is a good season for muddling – certainly lots of mud to muddle. (What a great word!)
Sounds good and the painting is magical! Blue energies aren’t necessarily “blue” energies, rather free- and clear energies! :-)
*cyberhugs*
Welcome to spring my dear Gypsy and all that it offers! I understand the seduction of this season.
Love your painting. It is so vibrant!
Ride the waves!
My dear Gypsy,
Thank you for the wonderful wishes, for your hearty post. While reading it, I have grasped that our conversation proves our being here and now. Thus you open the eternities to us all, and I sat back in awe towards your “Ocean Waves”. That’s not the acrylic on canvas, but the life that’s wet literally- your picture is breathing. Thank you.
Muddling sounds like the answer to my quandaries. This is a very peaceful and “centering” image and the kind of image that takes strength for an artist to do. I am in awe. How do you find the courage, insight or confidence to do it and let it be. I keep poking at my art. I think it shows in a not so good way.
… and: there is a certain painting I found on Your website that I really, really enjoy watching: You think it would be ok for me to put it on my blog (sort of a celebration!) with a link to Your Gypsy-Heart blog and website?
Yours sincerely,
Anni
I just took a break from blogging, and I have to say it was heavenly. It’s important to live, that’s how we are in the present. To allot the internet the right amount of time, not too much, so that when we are here, we’re present and not just avoiding other living.
I love your waves painting. That you decided to paint them and how they turned out. Soothing and rhythmic.
@ Sorrow~ I so agree. :) Awareness and openness…a most excellent goal! Thank you my gifted friend!
Peace and laughter to you too!
@ Kalliope ~ Ahh…That makes me happy. No thanks necessary..we remind each other of such things. :)
yes, muddling is a great word.
Thank you for being, love!
@ Ron ~ Thank you my dear friend!! You are such a light and I am so happy we are in the same circle. :) I can’t wait to get over to Vent for I know laughter awaits me there!!
@ Victor ~ Hello and I thank you for leaving your kind note! I took a peek at your site..your work is very powerful. I did see a common characteristics. I have to confess…I only painted about two ocean pieces! :O I may do more in time.
Yes, muddling seems to be a common characteristic too. :)
@badkitty ~ Seems quite a few of us are muddling. hee, hee. Maybe it is spring..eh?
Thank you for your sweet words.
Good and happy muddling to you!
@ Bo~ ‘Tis a good season for muddling! A good spring word…eh?
@ Anni ~ Thank you dear…I like the word “magical” :) I like your description of blue!
cyberhugs to you too!
@ tobeme ~ Thank you and welcome to spring to you too!
May we all ride the waves!
@ Tomas~ Thank you for your kind and beautiful words! As I said before you paint with your words! :)
Muddle all you want…if the words leave you…can you still leave us with the vibrant life of your paintings?
I love the blue colors in this painting! I love the sea and have tried painting it a couple of times, but I’ve never been pleased with the result. This painting make me wish summer was here already.
*Nouveaufauves* ~ Yes, I have learned to appreciate “muddling.” :)
I like very much that you found this piece “peaceful and centering.” I do not see “poking” in your art..I think ’tis very beautiful and full of color and spirit.
Sending you muddling energies!
*yb* ~ Ahh yes, it is important to live in the present, and I so agree about balancing time!
So glad you liked the painting…soothing and rhythmic are two words I like..thank you!
*Anonymous* ~ I am so happy that you decided to leave a note!
Maybe I should just post paintings and photos and not try to “talk.” Hmmm…that is not a bad idea indeed!
Virbrant is one of my favorite words and I thank you for that!
I also love the word “mystery”..and that is what you are! :)
*Susie*~ So glad you like the blue! I am a warm weather person so I am looking forward to summer too!
Thank you for your sweet note! :)
perfect image for me now. left the studio & what do I see: my devoutest wish fullfilled: to sit now on a beach in warm fullmoon-night! (without canvas). thank you, rené
*rene’*~ Thank you my friend…I hope your wishes comes true!
I really love this one, and of course have no words to express how much or why. It’s the blues. It’s the movement. It’s just the feeling it gives me when I look at it. Thanks again, gypsy-heart!
Hello,
A very enjoyable painting, like the others.
I can feel the joy in your heart and I soar with you.
Bird wings seem stiff and heavy compared to the wings of the heart.
Finding that web heart says volumes about your relationship to the gods.
Dear gypsy,
thanks for your commentary. You will find the knife now. I will also come to your side again soon. Do I understand right, that you live half in island and half in the states?
Henry
henry~ I did find it, and it was a beautiful image!
I live on two different islands, but both are in the states..only about 60 miles apart by land..50 to 60 miles by water.
One island is modern and has bridges the other has no bridges (acess by boat or small ferry) and is semi-modern (primitive to some). :)
Who knew there were so many shades of blue. Beautiful.
Peace Gypsy Heart,
Ahhh…a beautiful painting and a beautiful idea too! Presence is the fundamental essence of prayer and so I recognise this is as truth immediately.
Allah!
