I sometimes wrestle with my thoughts. I have seen the dark shadows too. I wonder, what are their intentions. Am I alone, or am I surrounded by spiritual likenesses. Perhaps these are my true friends. I communicate best through silence. So, it isn’t surprising to see the ones who hear my thoughts. These paintings offer validation to my inner desires. The physical world will never know how I am moved artistically or emotionally. I feel a connection I can’t explain or comprehend yet. The answer will be fulfilled one day I hope. Susan, thank you for your honesty, your talent as an artist, and your inspiration as an individual. You have truly inspired me.

We inspire one another each day, knowing there is reason for everything that happens in our lives, rather by personal choice or by some other pull. The road often feels the bumps and then suddenly, by some miracle it is smooth again, like ice on a frozen lake in winter and we are at peace with our heartfelt lives and decisions and with those we did & did not make. What a wonder life is, yet sometimes we can not understand why things happen to good people, now we know…strength comes from those dark times and lifts our spirits to the sun and the moon.
